The Nikhef data center is located at Amsterdam Science Park, where in 1988 the Netherlands became the first European country to connect to the internet. Nikhef was one of the birthplaces of the Amsterdam Internet Exchange and is still one of the most important places where providers interconnect their networks.
We supply connections from 1 Gbps to 100 Gbps here, either as internet access or as a VLAN-capable MPLS circuit to another data center.
From Nikhef, the other data centers at Science Park, including those of Equinix and Digital Realty, can also be reached via a campus cross-connect.
