On the banks of the Vaartsche Rijn canal, in Utrecht's Rotsoord district, stands Keramus. Architect Jillis Kinkel designed the complex for this former industrial area, which is slowly turning into a mixed city district with homes, cafés and businesses side by side. He came up with the street name Ravenoord himself.
Since August 2018, 232 students have lived here, a hundred of them exchange students at Utrecht University. Five companies share 900 m² of commercial space on the ground floor. Residents share three roof terraces, an indoor bike store and a communal room with a launderette.
Our fiber network has been in the building since it opened. In 2026 we renewed the collective agreement and upgraded every connection to 2.5 Gbps. Here, fast internet simply comes with the home.
